Do you have a few half finished or not quite there yet paintings stashed into the darkest corners of your cupboard?!
By popular demand, Louise will be hosting half-day workshops (choice of either morning or afternoon OR with an option to extend to a full day) to help you bring those artworks to life!
Join Louise as she guides you through the process of finishing your unfinished paintings using acrylics.
Enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful surroundings of Settlers Art Studios in our undercover workshop area. Cost includes acrylic paints and morning tea (BYO lunch).
This workshop is suitable for all levels. No experience is necessary. Children 12 and over allowed with an accompanying adult).
Historic Settlers Cottage is located at 180 Pearson Street, Churchlands, is owned by the National Trust and currently used as Art Studios. The setting is idyllic, nestled close to the Herdsman Lake, surrounded by trees and wildlife. The venue for our workshops is in the adjacent Shelter area (outdoor undercover with weather protection) and on the shady verandahs of the cottage.

What we provide
WORKSHOP OPTIONS:
HALF DAY (3 hours - either 9am to 12pm OR 1pm to 4pm) $75 per person for a half day session.
FULL DAY (ie both sessions) $140 per person for full day session.
Guided step-by-step instruction and expert tuition from Louise will help you finish your unfinished paintings.
Use of all materials provided including easel, table, chair, reference material, drawing materials, paints, brushes, palettes, water containers, rags and apron.
Delicious morning tea or afternoon drink and nibbles. (BYO lunch if staying for both sessions).
What to bring
Water bottle.
Lunch if staying for both session.
Your unfinished painting/s and any associated reference material.
What to wear
An apron is provided but wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on. Although acrylic paints are water based, some pigments can be difficult to remove.
Appropriate for
All levels - no experience is necessary.
Adults (children 12 and over allowed with an accompanying adult).
