Learn how to paint amazing waves!

NOTE THE LOCATION FOR THIS WORKSHOP IS BUSSELTON

Your opportunity to learn the skills to enable you to paint amazing waves (acrylics). Artist, Louise Collier, will show you how to capture the light and build the layers to capture the perfect wave. Cost includes all art materials needed, including a quality canvas and morning tea (BYO lunch) and a glass of wine or bubbles and nibbles afterwards to celebrate your achievements!.

This workshop is suitable for all levels. No experience is necessary. Children 12 and over allowed with an accompanying adult).

Louise is spending some time down south and has found a wonderful new venue for her art workshops at the Cultural Precinct in Busselton https://www.busseltonculturalprecinct.com.au/. Come and enjoy the creative vibes at this fab venue (the Fodder Room) in the converted stables area of the historic Busselton Gaol and Courthouse complex.

What we provide

$165 per person includes:

  • Guided step-by-step instruction and expert tuition from Louise will help you master this medium and subject matter.

  • Use of all materials provided including easel, table, chair, reference material, drawing materials, canvas with float frame, paints, brushes, palettes, water containers, rags and apron.

  • Delicious morning tea. (BYO lunch).

  • Glass of wine or bubbles and nibbles afterwards to celebrate your creation.

  • The masterpiece you create is yours to take home!

What to bring

  • Water bottle.

  • Lunch.

  • Bring your own reference photo if you like (or use one that Louise will provide).

What to wear

  • An apron is provided but wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on.  Although acrylic paints are water based, some pigments can be difficult to remove.

Appropriate for

  • All levels - no experience is necessary.

  • Adults (children 12 and over allowed with an accompanying adult).
